Artificial grass that survives the summer: base, yarn and the heat question
Cheap turf is fine until July. The difference is in what you cannot see and what colour the yarn is.

Real grass, honestly
A real lawn in Dubai costs water, a gardener and a fight with the sun. It is still lovely, and for a big villa garden with shade and irrigation it can be worth it. For a small garden, a balcony or a play area, synthetic turf is the rational choice.
The base is the job
On soil we excavate, lay and compact crushed stone with a fall, and add a weed membrane. On tile or concrete we lay direct with a drainage backing. A turf laid on unprepared sand will ripple, sink and grow weeds through the joins within a year.
Yarn, pile and heat
Turf gets warm in full afternoon sun; there is no avoiding it entirely. What helps: a lighter, mixed-green yarn; a cool-yarn range with a heat-reflective coating; a silica-sand infill; a hose down before use; and shade. A 30 to 35 mm pile balances softness and resilience for most gardens; 25 mm around pools dries fastest.
Pets and children
Pet ranges have a fully permeable backing and an antimicrobial infill; a rinse keeps them fresh. For children, a shock pad beneath the turf gives a critical fall height for climbing frames, and it is what nurseries and schools specify.
